#3: Be patient! Patience is critical when hunting turkey. After the turkey gobbles for a long period, it’s often quiet while it waits to make sure the situation is safe. That doesn’t mean it has left the area.

We thought it would be a good time go over Allen’s turkey hunting tips that were featured in a Capital Farms magazine last year. I’ll post 1 tip every other day for a total of 7 tips. I hope you enjoy!

Sit as still as possible. Turkeys are very wary of any movement.

Nebraska Turkey Hunting

We are now making great progress on the lodge and will be ready to hunt by turkey season which begins at the end of March. We have tons of turkey…I look forward to taking some harvest pictures!
