Hello everyone! I want to take a moment to catch you up on the happenings at Dos Plumas Ranch. I’m very happy to post that as of today…April 30, 2009, I (Lori/wife) am now a full time employee of Dos Plumas Ranch! God has blessed us and it was the right time to let go of the full-time social work job and put my energy into our ranch! I am so thankful for this opportunity and am glad that I now get to play a bigger role in Dos Plumas Ranch! So, the postings should be much more frequent but be patient as I learn how to do all this computer stuff! hahaha
We’ve had a great April with lots of animals harvested and lots of friends made! We’re quickly coming to the end of Turkey season and I’ll be sure to post some pics soon of the turkey’s we’ve harvested this season.
Like I said we’ve made some good friends this past month and I told a couple of them that I would try to “make em famous!” and post pics of their (both) FIRST BOW KILLS! JP and Jeremy have both been bow hunting about 6 months with no luck before they came to us. They had a blast at Dos Plumas Ranch and were very excited about their kills! JP killed a nice hog and ram and Jeremy killed a “party pig” as we like to call them around here…great size to grill for a party. What great guys they are! We hope to have them back soon…they are welcomed anytime as friends!

Buffalo hunts include: 2-Day Hunt, 2 Meals Daily, 2 Nights Lodging, Guide Services. You may harvest any size buffalo of your choice for $1300 per hunter.
